Arnold Schwarzenegger tells Putin “You can stop this war” in emotional message to Russians [Video]

- Arnold Schwarzenegger posted an emotional plea to Russians on Thursday about their country’s assault on Ukraine.
- The former California governor told the Russians to ignore the war “propaganda” because they are being lied to.
- Schwarzenegger then addressed President Putin, saying “You started this war. You are leading this war. You can stop this war.”
Arnold Schwarzenegger posted an emotional video message on social media to speak directly to the Russians amid their country’s invasion of Ukraine. It was subtitled on screen in both Russian and English.
In the nine-minute clip uploaded to Twitter, the former California governor attempted to make his “dear Russian friends” see through the propaganda that the Russian government is making.
“I’m speaking to you today because there are things that are being kept from you,” he said. “Terrible things that you should know about.”
Schwarzenegger started his message by speaking of his admiration for the Russians, with special mention of Olympics weightlifting champion Yuri Petrovich Vlasov — his childhood hero.
Schwarzenegger, a former weightlifter himself, said his father urged him to find a different hero, someone who’s not Russian.
“He didn’t like Russians because of his experience in World War II,” he said of his father who fought for the Nazis during the war.
The actor also talked about his admiration of the Russian people before starting his condemnation of their government’s actions against Ukraine.
Schwarzenegger then turned his focus to Russian President Vladimir Putin.
He asked, “Why would you sacrifice these young men for your own ambition?” referring to the Russian troops sent to attack Ukraine. “To President Putin, I say: You started this war. You are leading this war. You can stop this war.”
He told the Russian people that their government’s claim about “de-Nazifying” Ukraine was a lie. He noted that Ukrainian President Volodymir Zelenskyy, who is Jewish, lost relatives in the Holocaust.
Schwarzenegger pointed out that the Russian government has also lied to its soldiers.
“To the Russian soldiers listening to this broadcast: You already know much of the truth that I’m speaking. You’ve seen it in your own eyes. I don’t want you to be broken like my father,” he said.
To end the video, he spoke to Russian protesters who are against their government’s invasion of Ukraine.
“We know that you’ve suffered the consequences of your courage. You have been arrested, you’ve been jailed and you’ve been beaten. You are my new heroes. You have the strength of Yuri Petrovich Vlasov. You have the true heart of Russia,” he said.

I doubt Putin The great is listening to Arnold. Putin isn’t listening to anyone. Putin’s mind is in la la land. Putin brain has used a hypersonic missile against the citizens of Ukraine. Putin has upped the ante, while this Brain Dead POTUS, the supposedly leader of the free world, and NATO sit on the sidelines, while innocent civilians are intentionally killed. Putin is a war criminal. Lying Corrupt Quid Pro is an insult to Humanity. The UN is another worthless entity that should be removed for the shores of the U.S. Let the UN move to Europe. The UN would be much happier in Socialist Europe. I say again, The U.S. doesn’t have to get involved in a no-fly zone. Just authorize the Polish MIGS to the Ukraine, and the Ukrainian Air Force will take care of their own no-fly zone. NATO doesn’t get involved unless their corrupt leader Corrupt Quid Pro says so. NATO should think for themselves. Corrupt Quid Pro’s aid is a littler to late. No one masses 170, 000 troops together on one’s border for war games. When Putin was amassing these troops, that’s when Corrupt Quid Pro should have been pouring in all this military aid, not after the fact. Judging by the actions of Lying Corrupt Quid Pro KING Joe, Corrupt Quid Pro wants Ukraine to fall to the Russians. Corrupt Quid Pro is so corrupt it’s pathetic. No politician especially Corrupt Quid Pro or bureaucrat should ever think they are smarter than the people they are supposed to serve. If Ukraine falls to Russia, every piece of information that is in reference, to Corrupt Quid Pro, Hunter, and some sleazy Republican and Democrat politicians, concerning their corrupt under the table dealings with Ukraine will disappear for ever. Those peace talks between Ukraine and Russia, is not producing any results. The talks are just a stalling tactic for Russia. As those talks are ongoing, Putin still continues to bomb and kill innocent civilians. What countries sit down to talk piece, no ceasefire, and still continue to bomb and kill innocent Ukraine civilians, bomb a shelter housing children, that shelter was marked on the roof that it contained children, except Russia. Putin should be tried as a war criminal and his punishment should be, Putin should be buried up to his neck, every Ukrainian that lost a loved one should have a brick in his hand.
