  • She urged Americans to call their Congress members and Senators to take further action.
  • Behar and cohosts discussed concerns about Trump’s actions and mentioned the 25th Amendment.

Joy Behar expressed on Tuesday that more decisive action is needed regarding President Donald Trump. She insisted that simply protesting or voting does not go far enough.

“I think this is the end of it now for [President Trump]. It has to be. And Americans need to step up now. It’s not enough to go into the streets. It’s not enough to vote,” she said. “I believe that people need to start calling their congressmen and their Senators.”

According to Behar, President Trump had “eroded civil rights,” “erased history,” “wrecked the economy,” and “alienated us from our friends in NATO.” She claimed these were all done for personal reasons.

“You know, the shrinks call that a narcissistic injury,” Behar continued. “And that is what will get us into World War III because his ego is involved. And the only thing that Americans can do, including us, I mean, we have a forum here and we speak out.”

Behar called on the audience to contact their representatives, insisting, “It’s time to do something about this guy, because he’s leading us into World War III.” She said that viewers love “The View” because the hosts “speak out.”

Sunny Hostin claimed that Trump’s interest in Greenland was motivated by a desire for rare earth minerals. She warned that his statements should be taken seriously.

Behar said she blamed Congress for not acting, arguing that the president was unfit. The 25th Amendment was discussed but noted by Alyssa Farah Griffin as requiring cabinet initiation.
