McEnany: Dems’ Latest ‘Buzzword’ Proves They Haven’t Changed After 2024

Clear Facts
- Kayleigh McEnany criticizes Democrats for using the term “constitutional crisis” regarding President Trump’s actions, suggesting they have not learned from past election rhetoric.
- Democrats claim that Trump and Elon Musk’s efforts to reduce government size have led the U.S. into a “constitutional crisis.”
- Trump and Musk’s dismantling of the USAID and plans to shut down the Department of Education have sparked significant backlash from Democratic lawmakers.
Former White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany has taken aim at the Democrats’ recent rhetoric, suggesting that their claims of a “constitutional crisis” under President Donald Trump reflect a failure to learn from past mistakes.
According to McEnany, this new “buzzword” is reminiscent of previous assertions that Trump posed a “threat to democracy” during the 2024 election cycle.
“[Democratic New Jersey Sen.] Andy Kim, he went on to say, ‘we’re on the cusp of a constitutional crisis.’ That’s the new buzzword, because I heard [Democratic Connecticut Sen.] Chris Murphy say ‘it’s a constitutional crisis,’” McEnany remarked, highlighting the repetition in Democratic messaging.
She further questioned the consistency of the Democrats’ arguments, noting, “It’s as if they’ve not learned that the existential rhetoric did not work, the threat to democracy, not to mention we have sound we could pull up from any moment in December of [House Minority Leader] Hakeem Jeffries talking about government shutdowns hurting working people and those affected by hurricanes. What happened to that logic? It’s out the window 60 days later.”
Critics have also pointed out the inconsistency in opposing Elon Musk’s influence while historically supporting federal bureaucrats.
The controversy stems from Trump and Musk’s decision to dismantle the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), citing wasteful spending on left-wing causes.
This included a $2 million grant for sex change operations in Guatemala and the distribution of over 65 million condoms abroad. Following these actions, Trump appointed Secretary of State Marco Rubio as acting director of USAID.
Democratic leaders have been vocal in their opposition, with Sen. Chris Murphy labeling the situation as “the most serious constitutional crisis the country has ever faced.”
Sen. Andy Kim echoed these sentiments, warning of a potential government shutdown over Trump’s recent moves.
The backlash has been intense, with lawmakers like Democratic Massachusetts Rep. Ayanna Pressley making fiery statements against the Republican party and Musk.
Pressley went so far as to call Musk a “Nazi nutball baby” and a “godless, lawless billionaire.” Meanwhile, Democratic Minnesota Rep. Ilhan Omar predicted violent consequences in response to the dismantlement of USAID.
In a related protest, several congressional Democrats attempted to enter the Department of Education building, opposing Trump’s plan to shut it down due to its failure to improve student outcomes despite significant federal investment.
The federal government has spent $190 billion on public education since COVID-19, yet there has been no notable improvement in student proficiency in key subjects like math, reading, and science.

The crisis lies with the nay-sayers. They are blocking progress that truly means something to others, not just themselves. If financial gain was removed I bet they’d fall right in line.

They need to look in the mirror, or their basement, before making such claims. They always project their guilt upon their opponent as a way of deflecting and avoiding the consequences of THEIR actions. Denial does a funny thing to a person’s perception of reality.

Threats of violence and fear mongering is all the Left has. Nobody that lived through the Bidumb-Whorris regime or destruction believes the MSM anymore. This is especially true of the “minority groups” the left has taken for granted for 50 years. NO more. Trump won more minority voters than any Republican candidate EVER BEFORE. Conservatism has them on the run globally. When other socialist / communist organizations get to this point of self destruction they always turn to violence. Bring it on demonRATS, we are waiting for you this time. When the Deep State is gone so is your all of your illicit power.
