On Thursday, a grand jury in Manhattan indicted former President Donald Trump. This makes him the first former president in United States history to be criminally indicted.
While the exact charges are not yet known, the investigation is believed to be related to Trump’s alleged hush-money payment to adult film star Stormy Daniels, who claimed to have had an extramarital affair with Trump.
Trump’s supporters have warned that his indictment could actually make him more popular and increase his chances of being nominated for the Republican presidential ticket in 2024. However, Trump himself had predicted his arrest on March 21, though no such arrest was made.
In a statement posted on the Truth Social platform, he called for protests and to “take our nation back.”
A spokesperson for the former president later walked back the comments, denouncing the “George Soros-funded Radical Left Democrat prosecutor in Manhattan,” but admitting that no notification of an arrest had been received.
In addition to the Manhattan indictment, Trump is also under investigation for alleged election interference in Georgia and classified documents seized by the FBI at his residence in Florida. Last week, officials increased security at the Manhattan courthouse in anticipation of the indictment.
If Trump is convicted of the charges expected, he faces a maximum sentence of four years in prison.

They are going to have a hard time proving Trump paid her when his lawyer did the payoff anf Trump refunded him his money. Trump may have not paid her if his lawyer had not decided to give her the money to shut her up. They will have to prove that Trump told him to do it and then gave him his money back, and I don’t think they can. Trump may not even have known his lawyer was going to do this until he had already done it and decided to give him his money back. It may have all been a scam from the beginning. When are they going to indite Biden? There is a mountain of evidence of his wrongdoings. This is just another political garbage the Democrats are planning like the Russian impeachments. They think it will keep him from running in 2024, and they know that they may not be able to steal the elecftion again and he will win by a landslide, because the people are fed up with the mess this country is in because of the idiot Biden and the Democrats.

Most people like myself consider this fiasco to be just that. The Socialist party must really be afraid of what The Donald plans to do when he becoms president. Is it possible that he might do what JFK was about to do before they killed him? Sad times for our country. Too much evil and wickedness live among us. It’s unfathomable to think there is so much hatred for one man who has done nothing PERSONALLY to the haters but is hated because others (the media, Dems, RINOs) have told them he’s a “bad” person.
