“As President of the United States of America, I am pleased to announce that Rudy Giuliani, the greatest Mayor in the history of New York City, and an equally great American Patriot, will receive THE PRESIDENTIAL MEDAL OF FREEDOM, our Country’s highest civilian honor,” Trump wrote on Truth Social.
This announcement comes shortly after Giuliani sustained several injuries in a car accident.
According to his spokesman, Giuliani was hospitalized with a fractured thoracic vertebrae, lacerations, and other injuries but remains steadfast in recovery.
“Mayor Giuliani’s condition continues to improve, and he is expected to be discharged from the hospital within the next few days,” Michael Ragusa stated Monday.
Giuliani’s lengthy record of public service and support for traditional American values is recognized by this honor.

Perhaps Trump should just pay Giuliani for all the legal and quasi-legal work he did for Trump. I’m sure grubby, greedy Giuliani would appreciate it much more.
From trying to suborn perjured testimony in Ukraine against Biden to being stripped of his license to practice law for various unethical practices, Giuliani has become a laughingstock around the country and world. I can think of few people less deserving of a Presidential Medal of Freedom than Giuliani.
