Biden says MAGA Republicans “fan the flames of political violence” [Video]

- Biden attacked former President Trump and MAGA Republicans who he said are “determined to take the country backwards.”

President Joe Biden attacked “MAGA Republicans” in a rare prime-time speech on Thursday evening at Independence Hall in Philadelphia. He spoke about an impending “battle for the soul of the nation,” just two months ahead of the midterm elections in November.
Though the White House said it was not a campaign event, Biden works hard to boost support for Democratic lawmakers in an effort to help the Democrats maintain control of Congress.
In recent speeches, Biden has mostly avoided mentioning Trump’s name but on Thursday, he offered a more pointed attack on the former president and his supporters, saying they are embracing extremism.
“Too much of what’s happening in our country today is not normal,” Biden said. “Donald Trump and the MAGA Republicans represent an extremism that threatens the very foundations of our republic.”
The president also accused MAGA forces of taking the country backwards.
“Backwards to an America where there is no right to choose, no right to privacy, no right to contraception, no right to marry who you love,” Biden continued. “They promote authoritarian leaders and fan the flames of political violence.”
Biden acknowledged that the majority of Republicans are not “MAGA Republicans.” But he added that the current Republican Party is undoubtedly “dominated, driven, and intimidated by MAGA Republicans,” and called it a threat to the United States.
“For a long time, we’ve told ourselves that American democracy is guaranteed. But it is not. We have to defend it. Protect it. Stand up for it. Each and every one of us,” the president said.
He urged Americans to come together and unite to reject MAGA ideology while reprimanding insurrectionists and emphasizing the danger of undermining election integrity.
“There’s no place for political violence in America,” he said to applause from the crowd.
Republican National Committee Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel said in a statement that Biden’s “wretched attacks” on millions of Americans are fueling division in the country.
“His agenda has pitted neighbors against each other, rewarded the wealthy while punishing working families, and trampled on the rights and freedoms of Americans,” McDaniel said. “Joe Biden is the divider-in-chief and epitomizes the current state of the Democrat Party: one of divisiveness, disgust, and hostility towards half the country.”
Biden’s speech comes just days after he suggested that the ideology of the MAGA Republicans who have embraced Trump’s worldview has paved the way for “semi-fascism” in the country.
“Democracy must be defended, for democracy makes all these things possible,” he said.
The president ended his speech by urging Americans to “vote, vote, vote,” and mentioned doing “our duty” in 2022 and beyond.
Three broadcasting networks — ABC, CBS and NBC — passed on carrying Biden’s speech, and opted to show their regular-scheduled programming instead.

Biden would of made the German leader before WW2 and during the war proud to label republicans as Hitler label the Jews a threat to the nation. What is Biden next step to have the FBI round them all up and put them in work camps so they can be retrained by CNN to follow the party line.

Biden has one thing right, we are in a battle for the soul of the nation. What he is not saying is that he is the one trying so hard to destroy that soul. The ones who he is labeling evil and wrong are the ones who are trying to stop his destruction of our nation. His idea of unity is everyone giving in to being brainwashed into believing his lies and going along with his evil plans. He believes that he is a God and that anyone who does not fall down and worship him should be labeled evil and be punished.

From this article, Mr. Biden was quoted as saying “Backwards to an America where there is no right to choose, no right to privacy, no right to contraception, no right to marry who you love…”. Sadly, he does not mention that not choosing to wear masks was a Democrat agenda, not Republican. The Democrats pushed for mandatory vaccinations, as well. Neither Mr. Trump nor any of the other Republicans made any attempts to end privacy, contraception, or modify marriage laws. Abortion is not contraception, and the Republicans against it are aware of that.

What rock do you live under? Gas is still more than twice what it was under Don. Groceries are either twice the price or non existent in less than two years, housing is out of site and the market is in the pits. Some recovery! The border was secure, we were respected among nations and the economy was in the best shape it had been in 20 years. The crime rate was low and is now sky rocketing. Even O Bama said Joe could screw up almost anything. He was sure right about that!

The incident is among eight known attempts to gain unauthorized access to voting systems in five U.S. states since the 2020 election. All involved local Republican officeholders or party activists advancing Trump’s falsehoods or conspiracy theories about rigged voting machines.

The Democrats want us to deny legitimate genders and help children change theirs. They want to make any marriage legal, even between adults and children. They want to defund the police and run a lawless country, except when they’re in trouble. They’ve opened the southern border and let hordes of illegals into our country but don’t check them for disease or criminal records. Now, they want to say the Republicans are doing crazy things and causing unrest. Poor Joe, he’s got it all wrong. Those things were done by Democrats. It’s the Democrats who used Antifa gangs to turn our larger cities into dumps where no one is safe. The Republicans didn’t do that.
