WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

  • Buckingham Palace has requested that the image of Queen Elizabeth be removed from a tour bus owned by a Donald Trump supporter.
  • The Queen’s image was photoshopped to show her wearing a ‘Make America Great Again’ hat and a QAnon brooch.
  • The ‘Trump train’ served as an ‘unofficial campaign tour bus’ supporting the former president’s reelection in 2020.

Buckingham Palace has requested for an image of Queen Elizabeth II to be removed from the side of a bus used for Donald Trump’s re-election campaign in 2020.

The Queen’s image had been photoshopped to show her wearing a red ‘Make America Great Again’ hat and a QAnon brooch.

Buzzfeed reported that the bus, called ‘Trump train, ‘ had been used in the 2020 presidential election campaign. Queen Elizabeth’s photo was only noticed last week at a rally held by Matt Gaetz and Marjorie Taylor Greene in Florida.

According to the outlet, Buckingham Palace demanded the picture of the Queen be removed.

The owner of the bus, Buddy Hall, appears not to be affiliated directly with the former president, or Reps. Gaetz or Greene who was at the Florida rally last week.

A spokesman for Gaetz told Buzzfeed: “We’re sure Her Majesty has greater concerns than motor vehicle traffic in [the retirement community where the rally was held] The Villages – Florida.”

Buddy Hall launched a GoFundMe campaign last year for the ‘Trump train’ to keep it traveling across the US. As of this writing, the page has raised just $855 of a $10,000 goal.

The GoFundMe page says: “Owner of the bus, Buddy Hall has been an ardent supporter of Donald J. Trump prior to his run for the White House. Extremely proud of President Trump’s accomplishments and overcoming the challenges he has endured, he wanted to offer his support for his 2020 reelection efforts.

“He had the opportunity to purchase a luxury tour bus, got it professionally wrapped, said goodbye to family and friends and with the support of businesswoman Gladys Kohr, begun traveling the USA.”

The page also mentions the cost for fuel every three days is $800 and there are also expenses for the team including food.

England’s Queen as the head of state stays politically neutral and has never voted nor showed support for any candidate.

Other members of the Royal Family don’t seem to participate or vote in any election either. Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, is the only exception when she cast a vote in the 2020 US presidential election.
