WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

  • Nuclear waste official Sam Brinton has been accused of stealing luggage again from another airport.
  • Brinton faces charges for a similar incident at the baggage claim at Minneapolis-St. Paul International AirportĀ in September.
  • Brinton, who uses they/them pronouns, denied the earlier charges but was placed on leave last month.

Sam Brinton, the deputy assistant secretary for spent fuel and waste disposition of the Energy Department (DoE), is accused of stealing luggage from an airport in Las Vegas after facing charges for a similar incident in Minneapolis, according to multiple reports.

Brinton, who uses they/them pronouns, was placed on leave from the DoE after the non-binary official was charged with felony theft over the incident.

According to a local Las Vegas TV station, a felony arrest warrant has been issued for Brinton after the Harry Reid International Airport incident.

Brinton was charged with grand larceny with a value between $1,200 and $5,000.

In Nevada, grand larceny is a category B felony punishable by one to 10 years in prison and a fine that could reach up to $10,000.

BrintonĀ is already accused of stealing a suitcaseĀ worth $2,325 from the luggage claim carousel at Minneapolis-St. Paul Airport on September 16.

Brinton initially denied taking the suitcase, claiming they mistook it for their own bag at baggage claim despite never having checked a bag before their flight. Video surveillance showed Brinton removing the suitcaseā€™s ID tag after getting it from the luggage carousel.

Brinton is due to appear in court on December 19.

A group of 16 Republican lawmakers, including Georgia’s Andrew Clyde and Marjorie Taylor Greene, Arizona’s Andy Biggs and Texas’ Louie Gohmert, wrote a letter to DoE Secretary Jennifer M. Granholm calling for Brinton’s resignation.

“It is simply not possible for an individual to represent American values and simultaneously violate the felony laws of the land,” the letter reads.

“Brinton’s actions, along with your Department’s lack of transparency when dealing with this matter, reflect poorly on the Department of Energy, and they raise concern as to the Biden Administration’s priorities when appointing high-ranking officials.”

Brinton’s appointment was widely touted as a historic accomplishment for the LGBT community.

Why is it that most of what is considered evil is associated with the Left wing of the Democrat Party. They cheat in elections, they favor illegal immigration, they foster hate thru Antifa and BLM, they teach our kids to question their gender and push CRT in their classrooms. They pay to free criminals from episodes such as the ā€œSummer of Loveā€. They openly have a war against Christians, support tearing down our historical monuments. Their evilness has corrupted our national agencies like the FBI, DOJ, IRS and State Department. Their Party has caused division in the United States and continue to push false narratives like the Russia, Russia, Russia hoax and attempted to unseat a sitting President thru a false dossier paid for by Hilary Clinton. When and how do we bring a end to this disgraceful Party.

Amazing isn’t it. What I can’t understand is how the people who put up with it and enable these actions continue to do so. I have a hard time believing that so many Americans are as naive as they seem to be. Are they just ignorant or what?

I agree. I feel like puking when I see him too. Thankfully, he has been fired and we may not have to anymore.

Almost seems like it’s trying to see just what it can get away with. Give it all the fame it wants. All the way to prison cell.

I don’t understand how this freak of nature wound up with a government job that pays $173K per year. Whoever hired him needs to be fired as well. America is becoming the laughing stock of the entire world. I could care less what government employees do in their off time, but for some stupid reason, they insist on bringing their personal lives to the forefront of any conversation that affects them. When that happens, then I do care. I don’t want to know about any perverted lifestyle they have, and when it becomes public knowledge, I think termination of employment is appropriate. If that amounts to “don’t ask, don’t tell”, then so be it. If a person is homosexual or trans or whatever, the fact should not affect their employment status, unless they make a public issue of it.
