Trump threatens Fox News with lawsuit over ad calling MAGA supporters ‘suckers’ [Video]
- Former President Donald Trump called out Fox News again, this time threatening to sue them.
- The Lincoln Project had purchased local ad time on Fox News in Bedminster, New Jersey, where Trump has been staying.
- Their ad, entitled “Sucker,” mocked Trump supporters for being “suckers” who fell for Trump’s “scam.”
Former President Donald Trump has threatened to sue Fox News for running an insulting ad created by The Lincoln Project. The commercial, entitled “Sucker,” basically called Trump supporters suckers for falling for his “scam” and believing everything he tells them.
“Dear MAGA,” the ad opened. “We have some bad news. No, not that he lost. Not that your little coup attempt failed and its planners and the attackers are going to jail. No. The really bad news is why Trump told you he lost. Why he set it up way before the 2020 election.”
“It wasn’t voter fraud but it was fraud,” the narration continued. “Trump told you the election was stolen, ripped you off, to sucker you, to take your hard-earned money and shovel it into his pockets. He spent it on himself not to take back the White House. It was the biggest scam in political history. Every dollar you sent him paid to keep his shady business empire and lavish lifestyle going. It was a sucker game all along. And you know who the sucker is? You.”
The Mediaite report noted that while the text addressed “MAGA” supporters, the ad targeted Trump specifically. The Lincoln Project purchased local ad time on Fox News in Bedminster, New Jersey, where the former president usually stays during this time of the year.
The ad certainly got a reaction from Trump, who ranted on his Truth Social platform on Wednesday morning. He called the members of the organization “Perverts and Lowlifes,” referring to a sexual harassment scandal involving one of their co-founders.
Trump noted that he’s not surprised the ad ran on “Paul Ryan-run” Fox News. He added, “I thought they ran away to the asylum after their last catastrophic campaign, with charges made against them that were big time sleaze, and me getting many millions more votes in 2020 than I got in 2016.”
“The Perverts should not be allowed to “false advertise,” and Fox News should not allow it to happen,” Trump continued. “See you all in Court!!!”
Meanwhile, Trump critics celebrated the ad and praised The Lincoln Project on Twitter. They weren’t worried about the threat, pointing out that Trump has repeatedly threatened lawsuits but rarely filed them. Political speech is also protected by the First Amendment.
Rick Wilson, a co-founder of The Lincoln Project and former Republican strategist, told Mediaite, “In 2020, The Lincoln Project took up a long-term free lease in Trump’s brain. His threat to sue the Lincoln Project today is like Trump himself: impotent, flabby, and pathetic.”
Wilson also shared his thoughts in a Twitter video in which he taunted Trump to “go for it.”

As a Trump supporter I and 75 million others should sue Fox and the Lincoln Project for slander and libel. We were not duped at all. Trump did more forour country in his 4 years as President than Clinton, Obama and Biden did in their 18 years combined! In fact Biden has done so much harm to our country in 21 months in office it will probably take 21 years to repair! I hope Trump and millions of his supporters do sue Fox and the Lincoln Project and win a billion$ or more to at least put the Lincoln Project out of business!

I cannot understand why so many on the Left are so bitter about President Trump. Everything that is wrong today are credited to the Democrats. Trump brought back pride and respect to a country that was on its way down. Look at his major accomplishments and you will see the merits of Making America Great Again. Joe Biden has spent two years erasing those accomplishments and look where we are. Illegal immigration invasion, higher taxes, empty store shelves, CRT and Gender training to our kids in classrooms, late term abortions, defunded police departments, crime surging across the nation, no bond arrest, no penalty for thefts under a $1000. Disastrous withdraw, from Afghanistan , weakened military, a corrupt FBI AND DOJ fueled by the Democrats and on and on and on.

I thought the Lincoln Projectwas going to disband after a couple of them convicted of child sexual abuse. They then showed up at Youngkins campaign for VA Governor, holding Tiki torches lit up and them dressed as KKK. Thank goodness people know them for what they are. Right, left, or centrist democracy as the Founders prescribed it is in trouble. Mostly due to misunderstanding driven misinterpretation of the US Constitution, it’s Preamble, and the Bill of Rights. A newly honored citizen after making their pledge is more knowledgeable on these founding documents than any of us thinking we know what these documents proclaim. You won’t hear the immigrant now full citizen complain like citizens by birth do while cursing those with whom they disagree.
Disagreement is common among people with differing perspectives on everything from government rule to religion’s place in society. Democracy demands all persons are equal, not one voice is lesser or greater than another. The rights all are assured in our democratic republic are freeing compared to other countries’ proclaimed democracy.
Are so many Americans becoming jaded with the greatest amount of rights humanity has enjoyed through out man’s history? Is American life become such a burden such that living has become intolerable? If so, peaceful protesting is a right, in person or in writing. The 1st Amendment, in part, grants that right.
Even name calling and verbal harassment of others will not get one indicted and hauled into court. Which is in many cases an injustice inflected on the target of one’s choice at the moment.
You see, one persons rights end where another’s rights begin. Where their rights meet is a point of contention or of discovery over mutual concerns. That is a time that may try one’s soul deciding for to fight, or to show noble character for to negotiate toward peace.
America, at present, is notorious in the world for its non-negotiable stiff willed self entitlement attitude.
In truth a majority of us are not the least bit contentious argument mongering and angry people. It’s the noisy media grabbing malcontents who are the minority, but most heard. Sadly, the relatively few bring disgrace on the whole of our good country. It’s the tail of the dog wagging the whole body of the dog, to its great dismay and humiliation.
Rare are those creating chaos for others, in the midst of railing and ranting, find capacity in them self’s for self awareness.
Once, I read an opinion commenter’s reply to a question of objective facts and truth in opinion. That commentator wrote that objective truth was of no consequence to him. In his opinion he is right in all his perceptions, objective true facts would not influence his judgement.
One who disavows truth and instead clings tenaciously to proven untruths by definition is a fool. In that condition one will turn to others of a similar mind for what measly support they may offer.
The lot of them have become bait looked for by those of mendacious spirit whose aim it to gain from others misdirection.
In any-other context wouldn’t we all agree, those caught in another’s net of greed are by their actions called suckers.
Why is it those caught up in another’s plot to deceive are blind to their having been deceived?. Yet, think they are clear eyed in perception of another person’s situation judging others for stupidity and say,”suckers”.
The better part of character is seen as wisdom when one eschews leaping quick to judgement but do due diligence in study of other’s opinions before adopting it to fullest measure.

Trump did nothing but lie and steal from the public. Gas prices were low because world demand was low which made it look like we were energy independent. Once the world demand went up so did the price of gas. Biden has issued far more gas leases than Trump did but because gas prices were depressed for so long drilling and fracking had almost stopped. Now to gear back up has become really hard because a lot of the companies that supplied to the gas industry are having a hard time gearing up . The Keystone pipeline was never shut down and the Keystone XL was never a good idea and finally was cancelled by the Canadian company that was going to build it. All Biden did was approve their request. All the dirty Canadian oil is still going through the Keystone pipeline no to be confused with the Keystone XL Pipeline but the oil is not good enough quality to be refined in the US is is being shipped over seas. My belief is that gas prices will probably never be much under $3.50 ever again. World demand will stay high and the cost to develop never sources is very expensive.
We could go on and on about the Trump lies but do the research yourself and Fox is not a good source for the truth.
Trump liked this country when he could take advantage of it for himself. He loved to tell people what they wanted to hear and the truth was never a part of that. Trump’s jail cell will probably not have a gold toilet.

Maricopa County, Az signed a resolution stating that after looking at their voting ballots ??? Joe is not recognized as a legitimate winner of the 2020 election and not recognized as the President.” ??? News to me and I live in Maricopa County that certified Biden and kicked Trump out.
Three tries of counting the ballets and Joe Biden came out ahead every time and actually got more votes because some were mistaken as Trump votes but were not.

It’s natural for opposing parties that both poke fun of and make jibes at each other’s policy proposals. But, in the present day natural squabbles have ratcheted up into calls for civil war from one side. And, accompanied by outrageous suggestions about where the nation is headed. References to nazism, communism, or fascism are thrown about like cheep confetti by the unthinking who do not understand the terror the Nazi’s brought. What it really is like to live under communism’s thumb is beyond comprehension except for those experiencing it first hand. The fascist totalitarian rule would not tolerate divisive voices like this in public discourse.
The fears which propel disparaging all who might stand in the way of one’s being right or being denied any want are trifling compared to the real woes feared by the majority of people around this suffering world.
At the root of most fears is a seemingly disastrous perception of loosing control over things central to political power.
To the extent that we of the 98% have any control except for our vote and notes to our elected officials, as individuals our say is limited our words have no force. But, calm intelligent reasoning does not intimidate and close minds to what is the point wanting to made. Rants go on and on with no one caring to listen, except those of similar mind will chime in with unappreciated opinion.
Being listened to and heard is power. Rarely will one person individually move in the minds and changes parts of others perspective. However. people together and unified in purpose to if not change, but even modify, positively another’s outlook possibly cancelling fear and distrust. It the only cancelling with out argument.
This country is looking for unity and and unifiers. Fighting in lost causes is tiring and frustrating given to diminishing returns. Former presidents as a rule equate with diminishing on the political scene. Their star has peaked, no matter how it my seem. Any rebound in viability is a misnomer, unsustainable. Justice will out, in spite of SCOTUS packing just before an election. Something promised not doing on his watch. Everybody good with that? Flipped on a promise, but for the good, it seems. Means justify the ends, promises kept. A lie or a fib about nomination timing. Conservative right look the other way when convenience rules.
Never mind the nominees lied under oath on a promise. They, too, flipped off Justice like the man nominating them.
Say what the right may about the party on the other side of the aisle. The moderate to left are the straight arrows given the rights propensity for self indulgence and truculence when cooperative negotiations are real solutions.
Republicans playing at governing may or may not prevail come November Midterms. Come what may, given their behavior as elected officials has been unproductive and unresponsive, as in lifeless, to the peoples needs. As a result of the recalcitrant Republicans in elected government the are unable to call a spade a spade. Never had a POTUS post presidency violated the nation’s laws and security.
