Recently, allegations have emerged surrounding New York Attorney General Letitia James and her connection to two properties in southern Virginia. These properties are at the center of accusations involving possible mortgage fraud and discrepancies in financial disclosures.
The Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA) has referred James to the Department of Justice for a potential investigation. This referral is based on a report suggesting that James may have committed mortgage fraud with one property and filed inconsistent reports about loans on the other.
Upon visiting the first property, a modest two-story home in a quiet Norfolk neighborhood, it was found inhabited but seemingly not by James. The blinds were drawn, and a voice from inside the house, not resembling James’, declined to comment.
Neighbors in the area seemed unaware of James’ connection to the home. One neighbor mentioned that a black woman and children live there but did not recognize James from a photograph. Another neighbor simply stated, “it’s not the lady from New York,” referring to James.
The timing of James’ paperwork for this property is noteworthy. She filed it in August 2023, just before her trial against President Donald Trump, which resulted in significant financial penalties for Trump.
The second property, also a two-story house in Norfolk, presented a similar situation. Residents on the porch instructed visitors to leave and did not confirm any association with James. They remarked that any connection to James “doesn’t matter.”
Financial records reveal that James purchased this second home in 2020, yet failed to disclose the mortgage on her financial reports between 2020 and 2023. Discrepancies were noted, including unlisted rental income and questionable mortgage details.
Further complicating matters, James is accused of misclassifying a multi-family property in Brooklyn, New York. This misclassification could have allowed her to secure more favorable loan terms, as properties with five or more families are subject to stricter loan conditions.
James’ office has not responded to requests for comment on these issues. The ongoing scrutiny raises questions about the integrity of her financial dealings and her actual residency status at these properties.

The “MOST” egregious types of crimes and corruption are the ones committed by people in public office, law enforcement and the judiciary. These people use the implied power of their positions with full knowledge of the offenses. There should be “zero tolerance” for these people and a special extra category that ads more severity to the punishment; kind of similar to the “hate crime” adendum. These people run for public office or enter L.E. and the Judiciary because they know the public expects the best intentions. Because of that they deserve must tougher scrutiny and punishment when they fail to uphold the oaths they all swear to the public. This needs to start NOW. No immunity, no sympathy, no mercy.

Well, she is a crook just like the idiot from Georgia-their only goal was to stop Donald Trump from becoming President. Didn’t matter that they were doing illegal things!!
