FBI sends federal prosecutors evidence on Hunter Biden’s taxes and gun purchase
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:
- There is sufficient evidence to charge Hunter Biden with crimes related to taxes and a gun purchase, according to sources familiar with the FBI’s investigation.
- FBI and IRS investigators have sent the evidence to U.S. Attorney David Weiss in Delaware.
- Biden’s team believes that the FBI leaked the information to pressure the prosecutors to speed up the investigation.
The FBI believes to have gathered sufficient evidence to charge Hunter Biden with crimes related to taxes and making a false statement on a gun purchase.
Sources familiar with the investigation said investigators from the FBI and IRS sent the evidence to the U.S. Attorney’s office in Delaware.
Hunter Biden’s attorney, Chris Clark, called on the DOJ to “diligently investigate and prosecute” whoever leaked information from grand jury proceedings.
The FBI has been facing increasing pressure from Republicans who accused them of delaying the investigation of the president’s son due to political bias. According to a source close to Hunter Biden, this may have driven the agency to leak the information to pressure the prosecutors deliberating the case.
Clark reiterated that it is “the job of the prosecutors” to “diligently and thoroughly” consider all evidence from both sides, “as is proper and legally required.”
The investigation into Hunter Biden, led by U.S. Attorney David Weiss, started in 2019. Weiss was appointed by then-President Donald Trump in 2018 and was also endorsed by Delaware’s Democrat Senators Tom Carper and Chris Coons.
In 2019, a federal subpoena sought Biden’s bank records dating back to 2014, when Joe Biden was vice president. Investigators looked into whether Biden owed taxes on income as a board member for Ukrainian energy company Burisma. In May 2022, sources told CBS News that high-powered Hollywood attorney Kevin Morris paid Biden’s past-due tax debts.
In December 2020, a subpoena sought documents on Biden’s “income, assets, debts, obligations, and financial transactions… and all personal and business expenditures,” as well as “all federal, state, local and foreign tax documentation related to (Hunter) Biden.”
Prosecutors on the case also subpoenaed documents from a paternity lawsuit that included his tax records.
After President Biden was sworn into office, dozens of Trump-appointed federal prosecutors were asked to resign in February 2021. But Weiss was asked to remain by then-acting Attorney General Monty Wilkinson.
President Biden has previously stated that he was not involved in his son’s business dealings. There has also been no evidence proving otherwise.
During a presidential debate in October 2020, Biden declared, “I have not taken a penny from any foreign source, ever, in my life.”

The laptop and the voicemails, emails, pictures etc. hold all the proof and facts..the FBI is crooked and seems to only work for the Bidens now. What a screwed up, upside down, double standards world we now live in!

The FBI is being run lefties, it not just the prosecutor is not doing their job. The FBI has gotten rid of people telling what is really going on. So at least the top is no good. There is enough evidence that a blind man or woman can make a case. And the BIG GUY is in it up to his neck. Now if it were Trump he’d be in Gitmo

I believe that they are pushing this through really fast so that if he is charged and found guilty that Father President Joe can give him a full pardon before he leaves office. Father Joe has many many crimes against him regarding Son Hunter and his crimes that he did for his Father. Hunter does not have many brain cells left after using drugs for years.

So it takes 3 years to investigate crimes into whether or not Hunter Biden committed a crime. I mean I am going to repeat Joe Biden’s favorite saying, “for God’s sake man” does it take that long to look at a form to see how he answered a question and then look at photographs of him smoking crack. I can see the financial crimes but 3 years??? This is a crock!!

There is an old saying, “It’ll be a cold day in hell when …” I can’t help but feel the same way about any of the Biden Klan being tried and found guilty of anything other than Jay-walking on a deserted street. It’ll be a cold day in hell if and when any member of the Biden Klan is found guilty by a crime and sentenced. The entire Biden Klan is totally corrupt, dishonest, immoral, and mentally ill. Imagine a father who has sexual connotations with his young daughter; whose son consistently discusses with his father misdeeds of human nature (including having sex with his brother’s wife), and corruption with multiple foreign nations. I am certain there has never been a family so thoroughly dishonorable, immoral, corrupt, and disgraced as Joe Biden’s family. Joe Biden was successful in dodging the draft in the 1950s, and went on to become a “do nothing for your Nation” congressman and then senator for over 40 years, adding to that, the Vice President and later President – acquiring a great wealth, but again, for doing nothing for his country. His hopeless stupidity is leading our once proud Nation into a communist cesspool. Many people compare Joe Biden to Adolf Hitler; Joe Biden never did anything to better his Nation. but Hitler did. Hitler was finally driven to commit suicide, but Joe Biden? Never in the history of the USA has there been a family so deeply infested with corruption and hate as the Joe Biden Family is today. Where is Justice? Where is Honor? Where is Morality? Not in the Joe Biden Family.

Joe has already spent hundreds of thousands of dollars to Hunter from Going to jail. I fear for the republic we live in. It is being dismantled by the very people we trusted to stop such sedition. I don’t care who you are or what side of the aisle one stands on of you have committed crimes against this Constitution and the laws of the states then you should go right to effing jail.
