Obama will campaign for Democrats in key states before midterms

- Former U.S. President Barack Obama will be campaigning for Democrats in Georgia, Michigan, and Wisconsin later this month.
- Obama has been telling voters that the elections are in better hands with Democrats, who will ensure that the elections remain fair.
- Some Republicans running for office plan to change the way votes are cast by removing several modes of casting ballots.
With the midterm elections nearing, former U.S. President Barack Obama is set to stump for Democrat candidates for federal and state offices in Georgia, Michigan, and Wisconsin.
The former president’s office said on Saturday that he will visit Atlanta on Oct. 28 and then travel to Detroit and Milwaukee on Oct. 29.
Obama’s office stated, “He looks forward to stumping for candidates up and down the ballot, especially in races and states that will have consequences for the administration of 2024 elections.”
President Joe Biden was also scheduled to appear at a Portland rally in support of Democrat candidates. Meanwhile, former President Donald Trump has been campaigning for Republicans in rallies that also hint at his potential 2024 presidential run.
The results of the midterm elections could flip control of the U.S. House of Representatives and potentially the U.S. Senate back to the Republicans. Voting policies, such as the way votes are cast and counted, could also be at stake.
Obama has previously been telling voters that Democrats will protect abortion rights. But more recently, he added that the elections are in better hands with Democrats, who will ensure that the elections remain fair.
Some voting groups have expressed concern that far-right candidates could threaten the integrity of the next presidential election by influencing voting policies or overturning election results in favor of Trump or another Republican.
Several Republicans who echo Trump’s claims of election fraud have been nominated for top election administrator offices in their states.
For instance, Republicans Mark Finchem of Arizona and Jim Marchant of Nevada wish to abolish or curtail early voting, mail-in voting, and ballot drop-boxes. They have claimed that such ways of voting breed fraud, but did not provide any evidence.
Obama said in a podcast interview released on Saturday that voters may not be able to rely on U.S. courts to keep elections fair. He said that Democrats must therefore win closely-contested states to make sure that the election results will be respected.
“It may turn out that in a close presidential election at some point, certification of an election in a key swing state may be at issue,” Obama said. “And, it’s going to be really important that we have people there who play it straight.”

A few years ago a young Jewish boy was very Sick and needed extensive equipment and care. The airlines weren’t Able to transport the child to an Appointment with a specialist in a hospital in New York because his equipment was too large. When Trump heard about the boy, he volunteered his own plane to shuttle the boy back and forth for his appointments.
That doesn’t sound to me like someone who is antisemitic!! It sounds to me like a caring man with resources to help a child!

But Trump is now mentally ill and currently mocks people with handicaps. He even tried to cancel health insurance for millions without any replacement. Likewise, he failed America with his Covid response. Political views, treason, and endless issues aside Trump is now dangerous and this can’t be overlooked or ever forgetten.

He’s not mentally ill unless you think 50% of America are mentally ill as well. He is a person, not a politician. He didn’t try to cancel insurance for anyone. He did a masterful job with COVID, getting you a vaccine in 9 months instead of 5 years like the president before him. The current president is committing treason at our border everyday as he did in Afghanistan. That is treason. The issues you speak of are those induced by the media and the left, not Trump. First off, There is no right to abortion. It was always a state issue and it has been corrected by the courts. Period. The decision is best left to women and doctors and that is done at a state level, not a court and unelected officials and federal government. They have had 50 years codify Roe and didn’t.
2nd. It was the democrats who tried federalize elections, contrary to the constitution, not republicans. It was democrat Secretaries of state and attorney generals who changed election laws to that led to massive problems with mail in voting. It was democrats who fight against cleaning up voter registration roles in many states so that dead people and those they left the states are still registered there. Why? Its democrats who think we don’t need IDs to vote. It seems to me that it is the democrats who are the biggest threat to fair elections.
Obama can lie about it all he wants but those are the facts.

Also Trump started the fight to lower insulin rates, Obiden on January 22, 2021 suspended it for 90 days, then started it back up and took credit for it! Everything the liberal democrats do involve cheating and stealing and that includes POS Obama! 3 years ago idiots were protesting how Trump was keeping “babies in cages” at the border! Of course, the Democrats want to win. They want to turn this country into an American-Marxist Utopian ideology that has failed many times over in countries that experimented on it.
