Trump says Justice Dept, FBI could be part of election cheating plot [Video]

• During his interview with Fox News on Sunday, President Donald Trump claimed without evidence that the FBI and US Justice Department could be part of the widespread voter fraud.
• Trump and his legal counsel have continuously claimed the widespread voter fraud, saying that they would continue to pursue legal remedies to contest the election results.
• Joe Biden became the apparent President-elect four days after Election Day when Pennsylvania turned blue as mail-in ballots were counted.

In his continuous barrage of widespread voter fraud claims, President Donald Trump on Sunday again said, without proof, that the US Department of Justice and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) could be “involved” in what he described as a “rigged” election.

In his first exclusive TV interview, Trump told Fox News on Sunday that the November 3rd election was “rigged,” despite having no factual basis to substantiate his accusation.

“This is a total fraud,” the president said. “And how the FBI and Department of Justice — I don’t know, maybe they’re involved. But how people are allowed to get away with this stuff is unbelievable.”

Trump also argued that “with all of the fraud that has taken place, nobody’s come to me and said, ‘Oh, the FBI has nabbed the people that are doing this scheme,” adding that the Justice Department has been “missing in action.”

Backing the president, his campaign legal team repeatedly claimed without evidence that the Democrats led the widespread voter fraud. Federal judges, however, have continuously dismissed the case, arguing that Trump’s team did not present any valid or credible proof.

Trump continued narrating on Sunday, saying that on Election night, he was poised to be congratulated for winning.

“This election was over, and then they did dumps — they call them dumps,” he remarked. “Big massive dumps in Michigan, in Pennsylvania, all over.”

In some key swing states, the red-colored electoral shifted to blue days after the Election Day as the Democrat-led mail-in ballots cast weeks in advance were just counted on November 3.

Trump, who continuously refused to concede to President-elect Joe Biden, said that he would continue to challenge the election results.

“I’m going to use 125% of my energy to do it,” the president said. “You need a judge that’s willing to hear a case. You need a Supreme Court that’s willing to make a real big decision…  It’s not like you’re going to change my mind. In other words, my mind will not change in six months. There was tremendous cheating here.”

Four days after Election Day, Biden was declared by various TV networks and news organizations as President-elect when he won Pennsylvania and obtained over 270 electoral votes. On December 14, Biden’s victory would be formally declared by the Electoral College vote.
