The parents of Courtney Clenney, an OnlyFans model accused of murdering her boyfriend, have been arrested in Austin, Texas, TMZ reported Tuesday. Kim and Deborah Clenney are currently embroiled in their daughter’s high-profile case and face allegations of evidence tampering. The couple was booked Tuesday afternoon, according to the online records from the Travis County Sheriff’s Office, NBC Miami reported.

Law enforcement officials reportedly took the couple into custody after a warrant was issued from Miami, the outlet noted. The arrest is linked to a laptop belonging to Christian Obumseli, Courtney’s deceased boyfriend, which played a pivotal role in the ongoing investigation, sources told TMZ.

Kim reportedly returned to the couple’s Miami apartment to collect his daughter’s belongings, and stumbled upon Obumseli’s laptop, TMZ reported. The device had not been seized as evidence during the initial police investigation, the outlet noted. Courtney then allegedly provided her father with the laptop’s password, according to TMZ.

TMZ’s sources told the outlet that Kim “found nothing but a crypto exchange on the hard drive” and subsequently handed it over to Courtney’s legal defense team. Both Kim and Deborah Clenney remain detained, with the specifics of their felony charges still being clarified, the outlet noted. A bond hearing scheduled for Wednesday is expected to shed more light on the situation and the charges they face.

Courtney was arrested and charged in August 2022 for allegedly stabbing her boyfriend to death in April. The OnlyFans model was apprehended in Hawaii and is expected to be transferred to Miami-Dade County, according to the Miami Herald. She has been charged with second-degree murder using a lethal weapon.

If the Police searched the home and released it to the family to gather their daughters property, what did they do wrong? If the Police release the crime scene to crime scene clean up and they do their job, would they be charged with destroying evidence? The parents found the laptop, realized it was the victims and turned it in. Because the search was not done properly, that evidence may have been left behind, is not the parents fault.

Agree. The father turned it in to the defense lawyer, who as an officer of the court obviously knew of its significance, and who apparently made it available to the prosecution… only people who should be punished are the nunb-nuts who left it in the apartment in the first place (rookie on first search ever?)
