Following federal investigations into his estates in Los Angeles and Miami, Sean “Diddy” Combs addressed the situation. The hip-hop legend took to Instagram on Easter Sunday, sharing a heartfelt message alongside photos of his youngest daughter.

In his first social media post since the incidents, the 54-year-old mogul shared a series of photos of his 17-month-old daughter, Love, in her Easter outfit. “HAPPY EASTER from Baby Love,” Diddy captioned the post, which was viewed by his over 20 million followers on the platform.

The founder of Bad Boy Records, Combs has been in the headlines recently. The Department of Homeland Security has executed search warrants at Combs’ properties, adding to the existing pressure from sexual assault lawsuits filed by five different individuals since last year. Two of these lawsuits also carry sex trafficking allegations, attracting national attention.

Subpoenas have been issued to companies associated with Combs as part of the ongoing investigation, including a private charter jet company, a phone service provider, and computer specialists.

Combs’ legal team has been vocally critical of the raids on his properties. His lawyer, Aaron Dyer, said, “There was a gross overuse of military-level force as search warrants were executed at Mr. Combs’ residences.”

“There is no excuse for the excessive show of force and hostility exhibited by authorities or the way his children and employees were treated,” Dyer continued.

Dyer described the event as an “unprecedented ambush” conducted with a “coordinated media presence.” In Dyer’s opinion, this encourages “a premature rush to judgment” against Combs and constitutes a “witch hunt based on meritless accusations.”

Dyer added, “There has been no substantiation of criminal or civil liability with any of these allegations. Mr. Combs is innocent and will continue to fight every single day to clear his name.”

Combs had previously stated his innocence when the sexual assault lawsuits were first filed. “For the last couple of weeks, I have sat silently and watched people try to tarnish my character, destroy my reputation, and my legacy,” Combs said in December.

“Sickening allegations have been made against me by individuals looking for a quick payday,” he said. “Let me be absolutely clear: I did not do any of the awful things being alleged. I will fight for my name, my family, and the truth.”
