Clear Facts

  • Canada has announced a ban on 324 additional assault-style firearms as part of its ongoing efforts to enforce stricter gun control.
  • The Canadian government is collaborating with Ukraine to explore the possibility of donating these firearms to aid Ukraine’s defense against Russia.
  • Public Safety Minister Dominic LeBlanc emphasized that these firearms are now prohibited from use in Canada.

In a significant move towards tightening gun control, Canada has expanded its list of banned firearms by adding 324 assault-style weapons. This decision is part of a broader strategy to enhance public safety and curb gun violence across the nation.

The announcement was made by Public Safety Minister Dominic LeBlanc, who stated, “This means these firearms can no longer be used.” This immediate implementation reflects the government’s determination to address gun-related issues swiftly.

Additionally, Canada is looking beyond its borders to assist Ukraine in its ongoing conflict with Russia. Canadian leaders are actively working with the Ukrainian government to facilitate the donation of these banned firearms to support Ukraine’s defense efforts.

Defense Minister Bill Blair emphasized the importance of this initiative, stating, “Every bit of assistance we can offer to the Ukrainians is one step toward their victory.”

This latest measure is part of a series of actions taken by Canada to strengthen its gun control policies. The country had previously banned 1,500 makes and models of firearms in May 2020, a number that has since increased to over 2,000.

“Firearms designed for the battlefield plainly do not belong in our communities,” LeBlanc asserted, highlighting the government’s stance on preventing such weapons from being used in domestic settings.

In addition to the ban, Canada is investing in border security to combat smuggling and trafficking. The government is also implementing tougher penalties for gun traffickers to further deter illegal activities.

These steps underscore Canada’s commitment to ensuring public safety and reducing gun violence, while also extending a helping hand to Ukraine in its time of need.

This is not a news article. It is a liberal editorial in favor of more government control and less freedom. Just look at the language used.

Lemme see: Canada’s active duty military is only about 63,000: it could fit into the University of Michigan football stadium with 40,000 seats left over! The total, even if you include reserves and police. is still under 200,000–and they’re scattered all over a country of nearly 4 million sq. mi. and also overseas. Now that Trudeau has effectively disarmed the population, an invasion from the south could effectively occupy the areas of Canada that count in as little as a long weekend given that most Canadian urban centers only within 100 miles of the border. Ruminate and discuss.

Perfect explanation of the status quo in Canada! They have a HUGE country to protect, but less real firepower than any Central American militia. What a joke it is that they are a so-called NATO ally!

Trump’s kidding of Trudeau is right. Let Canada become the 51st state and give those Canadians some rights back.

Give them to Ukraine? 2000 different guns and probably a couple of hundred different types of ammunition. Boy that makes sense! But, Hey, that’s Canada!

      Exactly.
A logistical and training nightmare that only makes sense to those who think these weapons were designed for “the battlefield” of the 21st century.

So basically if your a Canadian Hunter you now are left with very few choices. You hopefully can still buy a Bow and purchase arrows but I have a feeling that a Crossbow is somehow about to be Banned because it is a very good Battlefield Weapon as it’s Silent unlike every other Sniper Weapon. Seems Canada loves the UN and can’t stand it’s own Citizens because they are basically using the very wording the UN has used in its version of a Weapons Ban. But remember the UN only wants this Ban to completely Disarm Israel and the United States because no one should ever have the means to protect themselves. Meanwhile not 1 new Law has been Written or even introduced to remove Guns from the Inner City Gangs, only to Hinder yet again the Honest Law Abiding Citizens. So as the Street Gangs begin to once again lick their collective lips Canada moves closer to being a Cake Walk for a Invasion. Heck Notre Dame University has more students than Canada has Military. Trudeau and Blair must both love reading about every other Dictator who removed their Citizens abilities to have Firearms that are used to protect its own Citizens against Tyrants that don’t like or want its Citizens armed. Maybe Canada will become China East.

So, if your Marxist Government says your guns are banned – that means all the guns magically appear on the Capitol Steps in Canada?? Sure they do.

if you think you need an AK-47 to hunt deer, what you really need is more practice time at the range with a good deer rifle.
(Yes, I have an m-16/AR-15, but I do not pretend it is for hunting. It is to shoot humans who invade my property intending to harm me or my family.)

American blue states have massive election fraud like my communist-held state of Washington, a Republican can never be elected here for any important state office, we just made the worst and most corrupt Attorney General in Washington’s history our new governor! And added a capitol gains tax and a 50+ cents per gallon gas tax to fight China’s tons of air pollution. I’m guessing Canada has a similar problem with Trudeau’s communists.

and Russia will wipe you out and it is your neighbor,
we need to stop all this ukraine help, for it’s costing big bucks, killing innocent people for what, and your just poking the bear, leave russia alone before we are ALL sorry for your stupidity and greed,

Canadian citizens should adopt a line I paraphrase from the US constitution that states when a government become oppressive of it’s people it is the duty of the people to institute new government. The time to act is now before all potential for resistance is removed, IE: gun confiscation.

The current government in Kyiv is fascist, descendants of the failed Polish invasion of 1700. They are descendants of Vlad the Impaler, and can’t be allowed to join NATO and put first strike nukes on Russia’s border. After the Maidan coup in 2014, Kyiv has not been democratic and does not reflect the native population of the Ukraine that is ethnic Russian.
