The recent attack on former President Donald Trump on Saturday uncovers a worrying trend in Hollywood. Over the past years, various celebrities have used their platforms to propagate fantasies about causing harm to the 45th president.
Many of these figures took it a step further, comparing Trump to Adolf Hitler in an attempt to incite their followers to extreme actions.
From Kathy Griffin, Robert De Niro, to Madonna, Hollywood celebrities have played out graphic scenarios against Trump. These violent scenarios often found support, whether silent or explicit, among Democrats.
“Fight! Fight!” Trump was heard shouting to the crowd as he was moved away by the Secret Service after the assassination attempt. Despite his injury, he showed defiance, pumping his fist in the air.
On Sunday, Trump thanked everyone for their thoughts and prayers on social media, stating, “It was God alone who prevented the unthinkable from happening.”
This shooting incident is the most serious attempt at a politician since the attack on President Ronald Reagan in 1981.
Below are fifteen notable instances when Hollywood celebrities aired violent fantasies involving Trump and his supporters.
Snoop Dogg, in his 2017 music video for his single “Lavender,” showed a mock gun pointed at Trump’s head and pulling the trigger. Kathy Griffin was photographed holding a fake, bloodied, decapitated head of the then-president, which quickly went viral in 2017.
Robert De Niro expressed his desire to punch Trump “in the face,” while Madonna once stated she had thought a lot about “blowing up the White House.” Bette Midler openly wished for someone to “shiv” or “stab” Trump and also fantasized about him getting physically “pummeled.”
Johnny Depp asked, “When was the last time an actor assassinated a president?” at the Glastonbury Festival in England in 2017. Debra Messing shared her wish that Trump becomes a rape victim.
George Lopez posted an illustration of then-President Trump burning at the stake back in 2018. Jane Fonda said Trump-era has “parallels” to “Hitler and the Third Reich.”
Rosie O’Donnell aired her fantasies of a military coup against Trump, and Paul Schrader contemplated giving screenwriting students an assignment about a plot to kill then-President Donald Trump.
Last but not least, Carole Cook joked about the assassination of then-President Trump in September 2018, saying, “Where’s John Wilkes Booth when you need him?”
This kind of rhetoric has no place in a civil society, let alone from influential figures like Hollywood celebrities. The disturbing trend of fantasizing violence against political figures is not only dangerous but also threatens the fabric of our democracy.

Charges for inciting violence and/or terrorist threats should be filed against them (Biden too for his ‘bulls eye’ comment). Even if convictions were not achieved it would likely muffle their noise a bit unless they were has-beens and needed the free publicity. In reality, most of the “celebrities” listed above are either has-beens or well on their way to that status.

DemoSocialists, have been screaming that Trump “is a threat to democracy” and that he is the “reincarnation of Hi*ler”. But, their actual fear is that his return to office is a threat to the uncovering of their corruption and criminality.
Their rhetoric, however, hasn’t stopped him. Piling on charge after charge with Soviet style “lawfare” hasn’t stopped him. So, now they must feel that they have to resort to a more final solution.

If the Dems and Biden are the real criminals why are there no charges against them? All the cases your side have against the Dems are just conspiracy theories that cannot be proved. On the other hand Trump was convicted of 34 felonies by a jury! He also owes millions to a woman for sexual assault. Yet the Dems are the bad guys here. One other thing to think about. If the Dems stole the election in 2020, your side has not figured it out. Seems the Dems are much smarter than your side.

don’t know what character they are in spouting off crap!!! I would never take anything they say in this type arena for any meaning!!! They are the worst to
believe in for sure!!! They don’t have a clue most of the time even who they are. I would not spend a penny to see their work period!!!!! Many times
they are a complete waste of words with their opinions !!!! So how does one determine what character is really speaking?? Think about it…all the roles
they have played…..they are the last to really believe of other choices one would have to consider….

The picture of Kathy Griffin holding what looks like her head. She is that ugly. As for the other celebs, they don’t live in reality. Come to middle America where
people are struggling. Farmers have it bad and if they want to eat, they should think about that. They all should be charged, because in reality they are threatening the President. I would have no problems charging them if I were in his position. Let them in court and take all their money.

I think all those actors co mments are liken to perverted voters, why they look at what Clintens did , or all Obama’s lies on how he was going to pay people’s mortgages , and all the debt they put our country in .Actors are just that they get paid to pretend . How to any of those jerks help us or our country ? Better yet why don’t put their money where their mouth is – Trump did !! And his family . I think the celebrities should be held accountable for their comments. They seem to forget that they are “entertainers”. Nobody “needs” an entertainer like they do a plumber, electrician, etc. Most are simply too full of themselves. Frankly their opinions should carry no weight whatsoever.

I think that most celebrities are afraid that if they like TRUMP that Hollywood would hate them. So what… you think that your money and status make you so righteous, think again. I don’t have to watch your movies, shows, and sitcom. You’re all control my fake news and fake people.
