Boxing heavyweight Mike Tyson recently experienced a mid-flight health scare during his trip from Miami to Los Angeles. Tyson’s representatives confirmed that the 57-year-old became nauseous and dizzy during the flight. This incident prompted speculations about the status of Tyson’s upcoming fight against Jake Paul.

Jake Paul, a renowned YouTuber who has successfully transitioned into boxing, promptly responded to the rumors. On social media, he declared, “nothing changed” with regard to the scheduled match this summer. Despite Tyson’s health incident, Paul firmly believes that the speculation surrounding the fight’s status is unfounded.

The health scare occurred less than two months before the much-anticipated fight between Tyson and Paul, which is set to take place in Dallas. This match is predicted to be the most-viewed boxing event ever and certainly the most exciting for the current generation.

In response to the concerns, Jake Paul posted on social media, “You love to make s— up before knowing the facts for clicks / likes. Nothing changed.” The social media influencer’s reaction quickly dispelled uncertainty, assuring fans of his commitment to the fight.

The first reports on Tyson’s medical emergency described the situation as a “medical emergency.” A source revealed, “Mike had some kind of medical emergency on the plane and paramedics boarded.” The incident caused a 25-minute delay for passengers disembarking the plane.

Further details regarding Tyson’s condition have been scant, but the boxing champion’s public appearance during recent press tours in Harlem, New York, and Dallas seemed to spark worries. Tyson, who will be turning 58 next month, admitted during the New York presser that his body feels like “s— right now” due to soreness.

Despite these concerns, Tyson boldly riposted at Paul’s predictions, stating, “He’s going to knock me out? Anderson Silva. He couldn’t even knock out the little guys, how’s he going to knock me out?” He further emphasized, “He never knocked out a real man, come on. He didn’t knock out Tommy Fury. I’m going to f— Jake up.”

The rivalry between Tyson and Paul has officially kicked off, and fans are eagerly anticipating their showdown this summer.

I don’t think Paul will knock Tyson out, or even knock him down. I think this will be a very close evenly-matched fight, which will essentially be a draw and up to the judges.

I am sure that Mike Tyson is the best condition man, in America. However, he is almost sixty-years-old. His opponent is 30 years younger. Win or lose, Tyson might be unable to recover from the injuries. No governing body should allow this fight.
