Biden Accuser Tara Reade Questions Media Double Standard

Clear Facts

  • Tara Reade, a former Senate staffer, accused Joe Biden of raping her in 1993, but her story received less media attention than E. Jean Carroll’s accusations against Donald Trump.
  • Carroll won an $83 million defamation judgment against Trump, while Reade was forced to flee the country and seek asylum in Russia.
  • The contrasting treatment of these two women’s stories highlights a double standard in the media and justice system.

This week, the media has been buzzing about the $83 million defamation judgment that E. Jean Carroll, former Elle magazine columnist, won against President Donald Trump. Tara Reade, the former Senate staffer who accused Joe Biden of raping her back in 1993, has some questions for Carroll.

Tara Reade’s existence resurfaced as a reminder of the stark contrast between her story and Carroll’s. Reade was forced to flee the country just days before her testimony in front of Congress was scheduled to take place.

E. Jean Carroll has been a topic of discussion for years, with some referring to her as the “crazy rape lady.” She has accused numerous famous people, including Donald Trump, of raping her. In 2019, she wrote a book detailing her alleged encounters, which did not sell well despite media promotion. Carroll eventually sued Trump for defamation after he denied her accusations, with billionaire Reid Hoffman offering to finance the lawsuit.

The first trial resulted in a jury finding Trump not guilty of raping Carroll due to a lack of evidence. However, they did find that Trump had “defamed” her by denying the allegations and ordered him to pay her $5 million. In a second trial, a judge informed the jury that Trump had definitely raped Carroll, despite the previous not guilty verdict and lack of evidence. The judge did not allow Trump’s legal team to present a defense, and Carroll was ultimately awarded $83.3 million.

The media has been celebrating Carroll’s judgment against Trump, with her appearing on various shows and even praising Joe Biden. This caught Tara Reade’s attention, who tweeted at Carroll, reminding her of her own experience with Biden and questioning the double standard.

Reade had evidence, witnesses, and specific details about her alleged rape by Biden, yet she had to flee the country when federal agents were sent to silence her before her congressional testimony. Russia granted her asylum as a refugee due to the threats against her life.

The contrasting treatment of E. Jean Carroll and Tara Reade highlights a clear double standard in the media and justice system. While Carroll’s story resulted in an $83 million judgment against Trump, Reade was forced to flee the country and seek asylum in Russia, with no financial compensation or media attention.

Clear Thoughts (op-ed)

The recent $83 million defamation judgment in favor of E. Jean Carroll, who accused Donald Trump of rape, has brought Tara Reade’s case against Joe Biden back into the spotlight. Reade, unlike Carroll, was forced to flee the country and seek asylum in Russia due to threats against her life.

This discrepancy in the treatment of these two women’s stories is appalling, as Reade had evidence, witnesses, and specific details about her alleged rape by Biden. Yet, she received little to no media attention and was silenced before her congressional testimony.

E. Jean Carroll’s victory highlights a glaring double standard in the media and justice system. While Carroll is celebrated and awarded millions, Reade remains in exile, with no financial compensation or justice. This hypocrisy should not go unnoticed, and it is our duty to question the fairness of the system that allowed such a disparity to occur.

The only difference between these two cases is one is against a democrat and one a republican. Trumps jury was made up of democrats in a democrat city. Republicans will never get a fair trial there.

Reade should stir up as much trouble as she can against Biden. Scream it from the borders of Russia! Who was Reade’s lawyer before she left the US 🤔

Think of the main stream media as the propaganda arm of the Democrat Party. In that context, their hypocrisy is to be expected.
