“ The ongoing conflict between Israel and Palestine demands thoughtful and informed discussions.” This sums up the real point that should be applicable to the media and in this case this reporter. Once again, even the title of the article denotes lack of seriousness and responsibility of accurate reporting. This is a general call to the media: Start covering this war unbiasedly , with objectiveness and transparency. The Hamas attack was barbaric but so has been the treatment that Palestinian have subjected for 75 years and further now , with these vengeful and unacceptable retaliation . The media must stop promoting more brutal atrocities and death. The blood is in your hands. Let’s all keep promoting more reliable information and more understanding of the entire complex situation. Honor your newspaper name: be crystal clear.

LIZETTE COLÓN – you need to learn your history about Israel because this land belongs to the Jews since before biblical times. Further more Palestine is not the ones who started this but HAMAS. Palestine is under the rule of HAMAS and HAMAS is keeping the civilians in danger. HAMAS and HESBOLA are the ones who are barbaric. Furthermore the Israelis are trying to save the civilian Palestinians but HAMAS won’t let them leave. Israel just want to live in peace in the land that is rightfully theirs.
The history of the Jews and Judaism in the Land of Israel begins in the 2nd millennium BCE, when Israelites emerged as an outgrowth of southern Canaanites, During biblical times, a postulated United Kingdom of Israel existed but then split into two Israelite kingdoms occupying the highland zone: the Kingdom of Israel (Samaria) in the north, and the Kingdom of Judah in the south.[5] The Kingdom of Israel was conquered by the Neo-Assyrian Empire (circa 722 BCE), and the Kingdom of Judah by the Neo-Babylonian Empire (586 BCE). Initially exiled to Babylon, upon the defeat of the Neo-Babylonian Empire by the Achaemenid Empire under Cyrus the Great (538 BCE), many of the Jewish exiles returned to Jerusalem, building the Second Temple.
In 332 BCE the kingdom of Macedonia under Alexander the Great conquered the Achaemenid Empire, which included Yehud (Judea). This event started a long religious struggle that split the Jewish population into traditional and Hellenized components. After the religion-driven Maccabean Revolt, the independent Hasmonean Kingdom was established in 165 BCE. In 64 BCE, the Roman Republic conquered Judea, first subjugating it as a client state before ultimately converting it into a Roman province in 6 CE. Although coming under the sway of various empires and home to a variety of ethnicities, the area of ancient Israel was predominantly Jewish until the Jewish–Roman wars of 66–136 CE. The wars commenced a long period of violence, enslavement, expulsion, displacement, forced conversion, and forced migration against the local Jewish population by the Roman Empire (and successor Byzantine State), beginning the Jewish diaspora.
After this time, Jews became a minority in most regions, except Galilee. After the 3rd century, the area became increasingly Christianized , although the proportions of Christians and Jews are unknown, the former perhaps coming to predominate in urban areas, the latter remaining in rural areas.[6] By the time of the Muslim conquest of the Levant, Jewish populations centers had declined from over 160 to around 50 settlements. Michael Avi-Yonah says that Jews constituted 10–15% of Palestine’s population by the time of the Sasanian conquest of Jerusalem in 614, while Moshe Gil says that Jews constituted the majority of the population until the 7th century Muslim conquest in 638 CE.[8] In 1099, the forces of the First Crusade conquered Jerusalem and nearby coastal areas, forming the Kingdom of Jerusalem. In 1517, the Ottoman Empire conquered the region, ruling it until the British conquered it in 1917. The region was ruled under the British Mandate for Palestine until 1948, when the Jewish State of Israel was proclaimed in part of the ancient land of Israel. This was made possible by the Zionist movement and its promotion of mass Jewish immigration.
HAMAS and HEZBOLA need to realize that The greater jihad is the ongoing struggle within one’s own soul to be a better person: to ward off temptation, to do the right thing, follow one’s conscience and God’s commandments and develop a closer relationship with Allah. The lesser jihad is the considered response to attack with self-defense. The greater jihad is not to be seen as eliminating Christians or other countries.

Whenever someone or thing isn’t in total agreement with these women, they start to scream and shout. It is a classic bully response used by females to get their point across. She and AOC and Waters and Talib are regular practioners of this ” debate” tactic. They are the 21st Century embodiment of Shakespeare’s COMMON SCOLD. They are only loud never effective.

Rep. Ilhan Omar should have never been allowed to run for office. She is anti-American
and in my opinion, a threat to this country. She has lied in the past and gained access
to this country through fraudulent means. She should be deported immediately and refused
future access to this country.
