Kamala Harris Redefines Humility at Real Estate Conference

Clear Facts

  • Kamala Harris discussed the concept of “humility” at the Australian Real Estate Conference, providing a lengthy and complex response.
  • Harris emphasized the importance of humility but stated she does not “aspire to be humble” or recommend it, highlighting the need for ambition alongside respect and hard work.
  • Harris reflected on personal experiences, particularly her mother’s treatment, as influencing her understanding of humility and fairness.

Kamala Harris once again showcased her unique style of communication during a recent appearance at the Australian Real Estate Conference (AREC). The former Vice President was asked by industry veteran John McGrath for advice on maintaining humility, a trait he associated with her.

Harris responded with a complex and winding discourse on the subject. She stated, “I think that one must be humble. But to aspire to be humble would be quite inauthentic.” Her response delved into the magnificence of the world and the importance of listening to individual stories, which she described as “very humbling.”

She further elaborated on the human spirit, emphasizing ambition as a positive trait, but one that must be balanced with hard work and respect. “I applaud ambition. I applaud ambition. I think it is a good thing to reach,” she asserted, stressing the importance of understanding one’s context and being respectful.

Harris also shared personal reflections, attributing her sense of humility to experiences with her mother. She recounted witnessing her mother, a “5 feet tall, a brown woman with an accent,” being treated unfairly due to assumptions about her appearance. These experiences shaped Harris’s views on fairness and humility.

“And I learned to dislike it immensely,” Harris said, critiquing the flawed perception of superiority based on superficial measures. She expressed her admiration for the “strength and the value and the magnificence and the majesty of so many,” regardless of their background.

After her elaborate explanation, McGrath responded with a simple, “Well said,” and Harris received an extended round of applause from the audience.

Despite her eloquence, political observers have previously warned that Harris’s tendency for “word salads” could be a liability. This was evident during her 2024 presidential campaign, where she lost all seven swing states and the national popular vote to President Donald Trump, who gained traction with key demographics.

My thoughts exactly Joe. Doesn’t she have any advisors/friends that can point out this logic flaw, and help her develop a common sense approach ?

All these speaking engagements is more about funneling money to her through whoever is actually paying her ‘fees’.

Lord, she’d have been so much better a President than the current misfit! Trump has broken promises left and right, from fighting inflation and protecting Medicaid, to ending the Russian invasion of Ukraine “on Day 1” and signing “90 trade deals in 90 days” (we’re still waiting).

She has no humility. Mark, you can blame Putin for going back on his word. And Medicaid has not changed. As for inflation, it is down. He has completed many trade deals. You ought to be thankful Harris is not in there. We were in dire straits with Biden, we had lost all the world’s respect. She is not a leader at all. She was picked to be the perfect running mate. The right color and a female.
