Clear Facts:

  • Former Backstreet Boy, Nick Carter, is resolutely denying renewed allegations of sexually assaulting a 15-year-old two decades ago.
  • Carter’s legal team emphasizes that these claims were made in the past, found lacking in evidence, and believes they hold no more weight now than they did before.
  • Beyond this lawsuit, Carter faces two other sexual assault allegations but remains confident in his innocence, awaiting his day in court.

Nick Carter, globally recognized as a former member of the popular band Backstreet Boys, has found himself on the defense, vehemently denying renewed allegations of sexual assault.

For those who may not recognize the name immediately, Carter was a heartthrob of the 90s and early 2000s, with hit songs and thousands of screaming fans.

Now, the singer is contending with a lawsuit alleging that he assaulted an unnamed 15-year-old female on his yacht when he was 23.

In a candid response, Carter dubbed the allegations as “pure BS.” He remains unyielding in his insistence on his innocence concerning these accusations. In a recent report by TMZ, Dale Hayes Jr., Carter’s legal counsel, pointed out that this isn’t the first time these allegations have surfaced.

Two decades ago, the same claims were filed, and after thorough investigation, authorities saw no substantial grounds to prosecute, indicating a lack of merit in the charges.

Hayes Jr. was quite clear in conveying the repetition of such accusations, saying the accuser is merely “repeating the same false allegations in a new legal complaint,” and emphatically added that this repetition “doesn’t make them any more true,” as TMZ reported.

However, this isn’t the only lawsuit Carter is currently grappling with. In December, a woman named Shannon Ruth came forward, alleging that the singer assaulted her in 2001 following one of his concerts when she was still a minor.

In defense, Carter has stated that he possesses a witness account that would debunk Ruth’s claim, according to TMZ. Another lawsuit was filed in April by Melissa Schuman, which pertains to an alleged sexual assault incident in 2022.

The famed singer’s legal team is not just taking these claims lying down. They are eager for the evidence to be showcased in court, firmly believing in Carter’s innocence and are anticipating that the actuality of these “malicious schemes” will soon be illuminated.

So if he proves he is innocent can’t he go after these people and take them to court. And put them in jail and that will stop some of this crap if its just a smear tactic. Start pushing back against this crap.

Why make these accusations decades later? Trying to smear him and get money? Obviously. If the cases were found of no merit back then, why file them again? Hoping for a different outcome, and a monetary gain for them? YES! Nick will be found innocent again.
