- The Obama daughters’ fashion choices marked a notable departure from their White House years.
- Both sisters have since pursued higher education, with Malia graduating from Harvard and Sasha from the University of Southern California.
For those who recall the Obama era, memories of the former President’s young daughters strolling the White House lawn in neatly tailored dresses are vivid.
However, Malia and Sasha Obama’s recent appearance paints a stark contrast from their White House days.
Recent photographs released by Page Six showcased the grown-up Obama siblings, Malia, 25, and Sasha, 22, attending a celebration of rapper Drake’s “It’s All A Blur” tour at The Bird Streets Club in Los Angeles.
It’s no secret that the Obama clan are keen followers of the famed rapper’s tunes.
Both sisters, in their headline-grabbing attire, were spotted leaving the venue around 4 a.m. with a group of friends.
Malia, attempting to dodge the paparazzi’s flashes, veiled her face with her hand as she paced towards the car.
The two currently cohabitate in a residence in Los Angeles.
Details from the paparazzi snapshots disclosed Sasha’s ensemble choice of low-slung green cargo pants paired with a risqué black lacy corset top, adorned with an array of rings, silver hoop earrings, and a notable gold pendant necklace. A neat bun and a belly button piercing completed her look.
Meanwhile, Malia opted for a patterned lace-up blouse complemented with high-waisted, semi-transparent, patterned flair trousers, letting her hair cascade in a half-tied fashion.
Since moving out of the presidential residence in January 2017, post the culmination of their father’s second term, the Obama sisters’ sartorial selections have evidently evolved.
The duo has also made strides academically; Malia is an alumna of Harvard University, class of 2021, and Sasha recently donned her graduation cap from the University of Southern California in May 2023.
