Trump and Musk Tackle Social Security Reform

In a bold move that has stirred political waters, President Donald Trump, alongside Elon Musk, is taking decisive action to address long-standing issues within the Social Security system. This initiative, aimed at rooting out waste, fraud, and abuse, has been a promise from Democrats for decades, yet it is now being realized by Trump and his team.
Karoline Leavitt, White House press secretary, recently highlighted the hypocrisy of Democratic leaders who once championed these reforms.
The Department of Government Efficiency, led by Musk, is under scrutiny from Democrats who have launched several lawsuits against the initiative, claiming constitutional violations. Despite these challenges, Leavitt emphasized that the administration’s goal is to protect taxpayers’ money by eliminating fraudulent payments.
President Trump has tasked Musk and the Doge team with identifying and ending duplicate payments, stopping payments to deceased individuals, and safeguarding the system’s integrity for honest contributors.
Leavitt reassured viewers, “If you paid into the system, honestly, you will continue to receive your Social Security checks.”
The administration’s efforts are not without precedent. Former Presidents Barack Obama and Joe Biden have both spoken about the necessity of eliminating wasteful spending. Obama once remarked, “What should be easy is getting rid of the pointless waste and stupid spending that doesn’t benefit anybody.”
Despite the backlash, recent polling suggests that the American public may be siding with Trump and Musk. A survey by the Trafalgar Group found that 49% of respondents approve of the DOGE initiative, compared to 44% who disapprove.
As the debate continues, Trump and Musk are set to discuss their plans further in upcoming interviews. This initiative, while controversial, is a significant step towards fulfilling promises that have long been neglected by previous administrations.

It is obvious that SS have a huge problem with payments going to “dead people” But there is even more serious problem. The SSA is the only agency that is infprmed when people die.At this point how they use that data is to be challenged.If used accurately no dead people would be getting payments. The bigger problem is that SSA does not forward the deceased persons name to any other agency that may be sending the dead person money outside of SS. There are all sorts of agencies that have grant programs that have expired that do not know the people have died so their payments are still active. SSA claims they have no authority to inform the other agencies. BUT THEY DO HAVE A RESPONSIBILITY TO TELL THEM THE PERSON DIED. The fix for this is simple.All payments come from the U.S. Treasurt Payment Sytem. All SSA has to do is inform the Treasury Dept and all checks to the dead person no matter which ageny provides them will be stopped. Not rocket science just pure common sense.

Indeed. Those on the Left spoke about doing similar things, including building the wall. However, with all the Democrat’s flowery talk of doing one thing or another, little to nothing was seen coming from it. Maybe it’s because by resolving the problems, they loose their edge along with feeding their fat little piggy bank with kickbacks and IOU’s that nothing was done, or they are incapable of formulating sound directives and following through with them… for the sake of the people and not themselves.
Obama, in a somewhat arrogant and mocking tone, asked what Trump’s magic wand was by which he’s going to accomplish his promises & goals. Both their comments were aired during their live face-off. Trump gave us a sample of what that wand looked like during his first term, and now we are seeing positive action being taken in just the first month of his second term with the help of Musk and others who are capable people doing their job.
Taking stock of one’s financial standing and one’s resources apart from finances, is what one has to deal with in order to rule one’s house. Intense Audits, taking stock of those under us and their abilities & performances, and what one’s future goals are including how to obtain such is called responsibility. It’s part of what it takes to run a thriving & productive business. Something those on the Left do not know much about or capable of implementing into their actions. Liberal Lefties care less about such things. To them, that is a useless and/or senseless burdensome task so they ignore it to a certain degree and on various levels.
All they care about is possessions, control, and power, or in other words, Power, Position, and Prestige. The same three things Satan tempted Jesus with during His 40 days of wandering about in the deserted area of Jerusalem in fasting & prayer. He succeeded whereas the Liberal fruitcakes constantly fall for.

I am on the “retirement plan” as it relates to SSI, due to being disabled. For you, me, and all those among us who legitimately depend on this source of “income” (which isn’t an income by definition), we are told not to worry because it won’t affect us in a negative way. I too am relieved knowing Trump’s team is cleaning house of all the built-up of misuse, false allocation, and outright wasteful spending that has accumulated during the cold winter years of having Liberal fruitcakes in charge is a sign of hope for the American People that things will get better in the coming days & years while Trump is in the Oval Office. BUT… when things go awry once he is out, will only become exponentially worse than what it was like before Trump returned to power this past January. When that happens, it will return in a frenzy, like a whirlwind of demons having a hissy fit when Jesus arose and exited from the tomb glorified. The only difference is, the Democrats don’t or can’t comprehend their doom is sealed.
We see now that the recent election is over how the world of Democrats, both Liberal & Radical, are still demanding we do one thing to ensure America & their democracy is kept safe, by getting Trump, Musk, and all their supporters out of the way. They say, “Our democracy is in danger,” etc. America is not a Democracy but a Republic. Their solution is just the opposite of what was & is truly needed for America. We saw how bad society became under their form of democracy. The majority had enough and wanted what Trump was doing for us all back. Because of this, our country was shaken up once again when Trump was re-elected.
I say this was a good thing, because it showed who the snowflakes, radicals, and truly UN-American were.
What we encountered so far is nothing compared to how chaotic & disruptive this world will become when events cause some folks to implement requirements/laws that will force us all to determine where our allegiance stands with one side or another. What we will face from that is just around the corner and it will not be political. Instead… it will be of a spiritual reckoning with a show of force.
Being a Christian and Bible student, I know this will eventually happen. Events within the: political, social, religious, financial, sexual, natural elements, etc., show us the world is screaming at us that life as we once knew it to be is coming to an end; that something momentous is on the cusp of life itself. Because of this, we need to take stock of our lives now, because this event horizon is not too far in the future, and evil has a odd way of popping its ugly head up when one least expects it. That’s why, for those who desire a better life, need to turn to Jesus in the here-n-now, put their trust in Him, and in showing our love for Him will keep His Law, ALL 10 Commandments… BEFORE events the Bible talked about start hitting this world, our own neighborhood, and us personally. Politics, our leaders both secular & religious won’t be able to keep us safe or save us at that time.

The USA deserves to know what is happening, not just they found something and are firing people.

I am currently getting back some on MY money via social security payments. I have been hearing for years that the program is in trouble and will be bankrupt in the near future? Please President Trump, with the help of Doge find all the waste and corruption. Make SS secure for all of us who have paid into it for years. It is OUR money and we deserve to get it back.

If Biden Obama knew about this, why didn’t they do something about it while they were office and that $$ could have gone back into the SS fund. They are suppose to be working for the people who elected them not lining their own pockets. I agree, make SS solvent.
