Defiant Patel Rejects Senate Attacks at FBI Helm

FBI Director Kash Patel faced pointed questions from Democrats on the Senate Judiciary Committee, challenging his handling of agency matters and his leadership style. In response, Patel defended the FBI’s direction and highlighted its recruitment success.
“So, I’m proud to be the director of the FBI that has seen the most significant, expansive application pool in history,” he said.
He acknowledged a controversial social media post about the alleged killer of conservative leader Charlie Kirk, admitting his language could have been better but insisting he acted transparently. Patel reminded lawmakers of the FBI’s focus on major arrests, agency reforms, and efforts against illegal drugs under President Donald Trump.
“If you want to criticize my 16 years of service, please bring it on,” Patel challenged senators.
Democrat Dick Durbin criticized Patel for promoting what he called “MAGA loyalists” and implementing internal loyalty and polygraph tests. Durbin also questioned Patel’s law enforcement experience and hiring decisions. Sen. Mazie Hirono raised concerns about the FBI’s physical standards, especially regarding requirements for push-ups and their impact on female agents.
“There are concerns about whether or not being able to do these kinds of harsh pull-ups is really required of FBI agents,” Hirono said.
Patel responded, “If you want to chase down a bad guy, excuse me, and put him in handcuffs, you had better be able to do a pull-up.”
Sen. Cory Booker forecast Patel’s possible departure and accused him of serving former President Trump over the Constitution.
Booker said, “I think you’re not going to be around long.”
Patel replied, “Your rant of false information does not bring this country together. It’s my time, not yours.”

Director Patel came to this “Inquisition” well-equipped with FBI stats/accomplishments, but they “went in one ear and came out the other ear” with no acknowledgement whatsoever (by the Democrat Inquisitors) – like “water rolling off a duck’s back”…but Democrats avoid conceding, lest it make them appear incorrect/inappropriate…win the argument no matter what, even if indisputable facts get in the way…that these Democrat leaders are in positions of power/influence make the matter worse…

That Dumocratic hearing against FBI Director Kash Patel was the most ignorant thing I have ever watched-until Director Patel laid into Adam Schiff. That man is so crooked I am surprised he is still a Senator–he is so dishonest and stupid. He needs to be kicked out for dishonesty and stupidity!
